
We will be hosting a premier tournament on Labor Day
Weekend (September 4 - 5) at the Rogers Complex in Devens, MA.
This will be a two days tournament. All games will be
played on Saturday and Sunday.
Team Fees: U10. $450 - U11-U14. $500 Guaranteed 3 Games.
This superb site offers
the following:
* 12 full size soccer fields at one site on the Parade
Grounds.
* No bussing needed. Short walk to all fields.
* For attendee convenience Devens will be providing additional parking this year.
* Mirror Lake is open for picnics, swimming or just to
take a "dip" between matches.
* Easy access to Rt. 2 and Rt. 495 - less than one hour
drive to Boston. Also trains from Boston run from nearby
Ayer Station.
The Bandits Cup is an unrestricted tournament sanctioned
by the Mass. Youth Soccer Assn. All US Youth State Association
member teams, US Club Soccer teams, and other national
affiliate teams may apply. The tournament has permission
to host club teams and club teams with 3 guest players
(U10-U14). No prior permission needed for guest players.
State and national association rules must be followed
and it must be noted at registration.
All players must have a current year registration.
There are 2 divisions of competition U12 to U14 playing
11v11 format:
"Elite" Division (D1-D2- or equivalent Teams)
"Premier" Division (MAPLE D & Top Town
Teams)
There is 1 division U10, playing 8v8 format with no results
or standings. Two divisions for U11 & U12 playing 8v8 format with playoffs.
Division placement is at the discretion of the tournament
committee.
Elite Level: Designed specifically for teams competing
at the highest level. This event has played host to some
of the best teams in the northeast.
Premier Level: Designed specifically for travel teams
looking for the best in tournament formatting and competitive
play. The purpose of the event is to provide teams with
the opportunity to grow as a group and gain valuable
preseason preparation.
This is a premier tournament. No effort will be spared
to make this a first rate tournament experience for your
team, to include: very competitive pairings from teams
throughout New England, quality awards and appearances
by members of several professional teams.
In the interest of safety for all, we are going to handle all registrations for teams at the tournament headquarters on site, at Rogers field, on Saturday 9/4/2010.
While it looks like the weekend will have gorgeous weather, (mid 70's and sunny), Friday night could be bad weather to be driving in. We have decided to cancel the Friday night registration at Devens and will do all team registrations on Saturday, 9/4/2010, in the tournament headquarters at the field complex, (Rogers field- 100 Sherman Ave, Devens MA 01432).
Please plan on having your team contact/manager register your teams at least 45 minutes before your first game on Saturday. We will have dedicated staff to get you through the process, as quickly as possible. You can speed up the process by having your documentation alphabetized like your roster.
Again- Friday night registration is cancelled, in the interest of safety and all registrations will be handled at the field complex headquarters, (look for the large Bandits Cup red/black tent on site),on Saturday, 9/4/2010.
